Ins. co. will want 20% of the payoff to you, they deduct the 20% from the actual check. If they cough up $30k you'll net $24,000 and you keep the car however, with a Insurance. Co. Salvage Branded New Jersey Title...so be sure what you feel you can get for the wreck as is and best to do a Bill of Sale as ...parts only.

 

Small world,  I went to HS at Roxbury, lived in Shore Hills,  hung out summers i.e drank up on the lawn at Rogers Drive / Shore Hills Country Club...even flipped a hydro-plane right there in the Landing "inlet" as Roger..past owner of the Chevron looked on....

thanks guys--I have been an auto damage appraiser for 37 yrs so i know what to expect---as far as the salvage Im starting a new build to replace my car--so I cant take the salvage unless I know someone is taking it from me and at what dollar amount--the motor is a 2010cc  110 hsp from VS--numbers as per Kirk---the body and chassis are NG--the only panels that are good are the deck lid and minor damage to the rs door- it was a hard LF hit -send me your email and I can send more photos and im in NJ
