Wow! That's almost unbelievable. You must be getting the shakes over that one Alan. I know...no room at the inn.
Troy? Theron?
If someone buys this on the easy coast and would like upgrades done ( trim etc) let me know.
Hard to believe it was a wide body and he converted it to classic. Good buy though for a nice clean classic look.
Anyone notice blue tape on fuel gauge at about 1/4 full --- must be true empty mark!
The float must have given him the blues sometime ago.
Waste of a good widebody
Pull 2 wires, 6 screws resetting the float to the right length and reinstall 15 minutes then you'll hear the beer buzzer will going off .

It may need a couple of things, but trim is certainly not one of them. A bigger engine, maybe, but not trim...
Re: the blue tape: My guess is that he has the wrong sending unit for that gauge. I have a newly restored 356 original gauge in my car. It's the same way. Won't go fall the way to full. Won't go all the way to empty. I haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. I just go by mileage. 8 gallon tank. 130/140 miles or so.
Claims to be a 1915....it could use rocker and bumper decos, belt line trim. too
Needs beehives on the rear to match that pre A gauge config and raise the shine down a bit. It has dual ports and that begs for a set of webers. I bet $6000 worth of work could really make this a nice car but you never really know what you'll find wrong with it. I bet 10K cash would get it. I bet Troy is on his way to go get it right now...
Nope. Alan just gave me a heads up about it, but I'll pass. Probably a nice deal for someone, just not for me.
Troy is busy stalking Van Morrison right now...
