You may already know about this, but there's a race event at Qualcomm Stadium next Friday evening (Jan 4, 2008). It's basically a 'run-what-you-brung' event - sounds like it might be kinda fun to watch (or run your car)!

Yeah Jim, RaceLegal is a real good thing. It's basically a 1/8 mile bracket racing type drag race, and you can enter anything - lot's of classes. A few ringers, but most are just youngsters off the street. Lots of enthusiasm in that crowd. It used to be every Friday night, sponsered by a coalition of sponsers and the City of San Diego. Money being is short supply, due to all our corrupt politicians, it has fallen on hard times, but they still struggle along with a week to week program. Thanks for the thought.
