Car is running great! Smooth and quiet with a nice Porsche like purr at idle and then a formula like scream as you step on it. Never felt so much kick in an automatic before. Been holed up in the house for last couple days as an Arctic front has hit us, 38 degrees this morning with a slight chance of getting up to the low sixties. Yea I know she has a good heater, but I've got no place to go right now. Here's a couple pics I took when it was warmer. The two cabriolets under construction at SAS are coming along as weather permits, Lawling is still re-engineering as he builds, he redesigned the rear suspension for the wide bodies as well as a separate mold for flared models.

Thanks for all the accolades, I'm planning on driving it up to Carlisle this year, hope to meet some of you face to face. It was a long wait but well worth it. Mechanically, it's perfect, however, the paint job could have been a bit better, I'd give a B+ grade or maybe an A- but it shines up good. Top seals out rain and wind perfectly and has the power to go faster than you ought to do. Very quiet at idle with only the soft purring from the exhaust pipes and the whir of the radiator fan. Lawling seems to finally gotten his art down to a science and is building 2 simultaneously so soon a cream and a red Cabriolet will be joining the group.

Hi Nolan,

This is Rob Young (an earlier SAS customer - delivery 2006). Just wanted to say congrats you on your car! looks great! Glad to hear its holding up well. I hope it was worth the wait. It's probably been a year since I've been to this site/forum. Looking forward to seeing you and your 356 at Carlisle 2009 (in addition to the many others I met at Carlisle two years back). Enjoy the ride. Rob
