WOW! That location brought back some memories. I was raised in Oakland, where my mom was a secretary for Kaiser Engineers. During high schools summers, she would get me laborer's jobs on Kaiser projects in California. Fify years ago (yikes!), Kaiser was the engineer for two concrete dams on the American river (Oxbow & Hell's Canyon maybe). I worked on the North Fork dam for a summer, and we would stop at the Forest Hill store on the way in or out. Man oh man, I thought I was something, working with the big guys.
