SAW

Sure would like to see an update on the guys building the SAW cars. I can't be nearly excited as you but am surely interested. Thanks in advance.

Mine should be done late this month or early next, waiting for update from SAW. The weight is starting to get to me, but the money is sitting in a nice liquid CD building up interest. So far I've earned nearly $600 interest which will probably go towards extra goodies.

Nolan.... Have you heard for Steve lately? I left both an email and a voice message over a week ago and have had no response to either. Vacation?

Could be, I've left a few messages myself and no answer. Since he has a small crew I guess they would all take vacation at the same time. Maybe Hoss knows more about his schedules.

Sorry guys, nothing to add. Steve is usually quite accessable except on rare occasions, including brief vacations, car shows or urgent family situations when he may be unavailable. Let me know if you don't hear from him in a few days and I'll see if I can get in touch with him.

I've talked with Steve in the past few days. He has been involved in a wedding recently, and seems to be very busy cranking out new Sooby Cabriolets. All is well. Rain was keeping him off the test road for awhile but weather is better now.

I can't wait to see your ride. I was up in TN and signed my docs and entered the waiting game. Went to Carlisle and ran into Hoss and Obrien, and they filled me with an urge to splurge. Thanks guys!

Hoss, thanks for the input on the 311 turns in 11 mile road. Ran into some boys in TN that pointed me in the right direction, and I zipped through the mountainside with a big grin on my face. Next time I hope to be doing it in my new cab, even though the 996 gave it a helluva run at it. Would have been better if the motorcycle boys would have gotten the *(&% out of the way!

Nolan, email me when you get your car. I would love to drive over and take a gander. Being that I am only in Sunrise, I can probably walk!!

Ok, will let you and everyone know when I get my new ride. Haven't decided whether to have it shipped or if my wife and I will fly up to drive it back. Everything depends on titling, tagging and insurance prior to pick up.

Is it me or is Steve overly stingey with the photos of all the new builds? Would love to see some in progress and finished shots. Feed me!

Check with Steve O'Brien, his web site has a lot a good shots of his build in progress. I'm located to far away from SAW to get any pics of mine and Steve at SAW is a bit stingy with photos.

Good idea, Nolan. O'Brien did quite a good workup on his car. Steve at SAW is pretty stingy about putting individual build pictures on the Internet, although he may share some with the owner. Personally, I'd rather have him working than taking pictures.

I would glady pay extra for a picture or two during a complete build..... just so you have a feeling that something is hapening....Digital photography is fast easy and cheap.....Remember that a picture is worth a thousand words..... Just think how many words Steve could save......Michael

Steve sent me pictures of the build but I begged. I will post pics of the speedster in a couple of days once I can get my hands on the cam from the girls in this house.

I am almost color blind in the red-green spectrum and I can tell you that cars is GREEN! Congrats on your new acquisition. It looks great! Who are those two young guys with the car?

Guys that is the color I want to paint my SAW. It is still several weeks from paint. Last I heard from Steve will be late October delivery. Hoss hold those Atumn leaves for a Dragon run. JK

OOps.... Well October is around the corner. Today is picture day and I will post some for you. Great color though. My car is now problem free (except the driver of course)and running like a bear.
