Mickey,

I just started in on your handle when someone came by with a bag full of parts from his 356 for me to work on. I'm trading a little detailing for some 914 interior bits and pieces, and hopefully, a front hood gasket.

Anyway, look at the fine aluminum casting that's all hidden under the bathroom fixture cream on the older blinker housings.

He wanted it dressed out a bit, I decided that sanded and polished and some "signature" holes drilled around the lip would work out PISSA. He agreed after seeing these pics.

Just thought that you might enjoy a peak.

Lane,

Check in with Mickey. Before I bother messing with his giant ribbed adapter (this one doesn't seem to be ribbed for ANYONE'S pleasure) he's
sending one of those cage-style adapters for me to try and make nice. His is going to need a longer taper than usual due to the early-style blinker that he installed,
but if his looks like yours, I can work out something for you at the same time. Pretty much using his as a test bed in a way.

So, email Mickey, see if the dimensions and style of his adapter matches yours and lemme know, OK? It seems like they might be a match.
If they are, it'll save you having to send yours off to me for a fitting.

Later
