John, I actually live in Denver but tracked this car down. It is advertised from a private seller and when I call the phone is answered as Racing Adventures in Scottsdale. The car is listed as an IM Speedster, old style on VW chassis, but at least from the photos looks clean. I was curious however, if someone wanted to visit this car and do the typical visual due diligence, gelcoat condition, quality of build and most important the pan/chassis-is it rusty. I would gladly compensate you for your time. I havr previously built a speedster and sold it at a car show last year, and kicking myself ever since. This car, if it is an IM, looks like a good candidate to restore. I presently am building a Type IV and looking for a ride.
Let me know and thank you. Steve
No problem I am in Scottsdale I will call them and go look at it for you. I do not have a digital camera but a friend of mine does and I will see if I can borrow it and take lots of pics for you. Do not worry about compensation. I am a speedster fan myself and have contemplated buying one. I have a 2001 boxster and have come to the conclusion that I would rather get an Envemo coupe replica. So I have been trying to find one of those or at least a company that produces a 356C replica. Anyway shoot me an e-mail at johnsewards@yahoo.com. Give me the info and I will see if I can go this Saturday and take a look for you. By the way if you know of any Envemo Coupes for sale give me a shout as well.
im in chandler... 20 min from scottsdale. well... south scottsdale, its a tall city :)....

I have a digi and I'm about as picky as it gets when i look at a car... if the guy's name is Jerry Jones, it is a nice car. He deals in vintage replica's and originals. Everywhere I've went with mine, people say... do you get it from jerry jones?
