Recently there was a post concerning "what seat belts should I use", I've run the search function several times and cannot locate it. Only very old posts keep coming up. Can anyone assist me ? One of the replys indicated that resonable replacements were available from Stoddard. I cannot find them on their website.

Chuck,

If you use "lap belts" as your search term, you get lots of hits. For 3 or 4-point belts, you need the rear strap to stay almost horizontal. The attachment point should NOT be the floor of the car, since this almost guarantees a spinal compression injury upon impact. Let me modify that: the attachment point can be the floor, but the belt must go through or over a cross bar that keeps the downward angle no more than 20 degrees from horizontal. Most sites offering belts/harnesses have good diagrams.
