I'm going through pictures and looking for what I like.
I like these seats and belts. Anyone know them and where to acquire?

Vintage Speedsters sells them. Others do to. I have them and they are surprisingly comfortable even on long trips.
The seats in the photo are from Intermeccanica, and they are very comfortable. Not sure where the belts come from, but they should not be too hard to find.
If you get seats, look for a seat heater option. So worth it.
The belts are 3" race belts and are available through almost any race shop. We can get a set if you like.

Are those YOUR seats, Bob ?
These are the seats in my 2013 VS.
At first glance, they look like the Intermeccanica seats, but side by side you can see the differences. The IM seat cushions are one-piece, leather, and quite a bit thicker, mainly because IM drivers need more cushioning.
VS drivers are leaner, tougher, more fit - and have naturally curly hair, too.
The VS seats are available in leather, but these are the vinyl, which many of us think are more practical in an open car. While the IM seats are definitely nicer, I think the VS vinyl seats look great and are good bang for the buck. I've done trips of several hours at a time and find these spare-looking seats surprisingly comfortable.

I always thought those vents should be located in the bottom seat cushion

No, not mine. I just recognized the car as an IM. Mine are similar. Henry installed three speed seat heaters. I didn't need the extra padding, though...
...but Mitch, most members have naturally curly hair...mine does...
The VS seats are very comfy. You can always have the bottom cushion redone to look like the IM for small money.
my last car Kirk put in roadster seats(?) which are way more cushy than standard seat
Those are real nice, Art. Could you please measure between the door sill and the tunnel and tell me how much width is required for those seats ? Thanks
Sure , David. It will be late today or Friday AM, before I will be there.
VS is VW pan based so should be same width as FF/CMC and old IMs --- 18-20". $700 each seems high but I'm astounded at what they want to re-cover a pair of 914 seats. Might be cheaper to buy a used industrial walking foot sewing machine
Will Hesch - Loving that seat, and the color combo in your profile pic (seats, handbrake, shift bag, and is that leather on the dash???). Is that a pure white body or off-white/cream? Beautiful!
David, my CMC, is 19" from the top of tunnel to top of the sill. The roadster seats from VS are 17.5" wide. The rails that I had in the car, (from VS) work fine. I had 914 seats in the car but they looked funny, being so tall in the speedster with the top down, (and to fit under the tonneau cover

My Seats are Speedster buckets. Got them from JPS with my car, but believe the upholstery guy is same as used by VS. Anyway, they are Speedster seats, except the seat and back are rolled and pleated vs. plain flat, so a little more padding, and maybe a bit more comfy.. Look very authentic, but not quite. Also includes heaters in the seats
We offer the shells in lightweight FRP, heavy FRP, true 090 autoclaved carbon fiber, and aluminum. We also sell them upholstered in leather (and vinyl by request).
