914 seats keep in mind that it costs about $225 plus to recover each seat
I installed a set in my 1970 Porsche powered single cab. I didn't find them very comfortable.
Ron, which Porsche engine was in your 1970 Single cab?
These seats look like they were poorly re-covered as the bottoms are just not right--the original 914 seat bottoms are neat l;ooking with covering that fits correctly.
I had heard that 914 seats are good to put in a Vintage and got a set. On a whim I replaced just the VS seat bottoms with the 914 seat bottoms and they were so comfortable that I kept the bottoms and gave the rest away to a SOC member for shipping cost.
I had an upholstry guy put the VS seat covers on the 914 seat bottoms and they look sensational plus raise my big butt up over the fiberglass seat shells so they didn't cut me on long trips.
If it's possible to obtain just the bottoms you can drop them right into your VS for a great improvment in comfort.
