I came across this book being advertised on kitcar.com and was wondering if anyone had reviewed it. I did a search, but did not find anything. Based on the webpage www.carsecrets.com/kitcar2.html it looks very fishy. Just want to know if this a worthwhile book or if there are other good resources for a novice building the Spyder.

For a novice contemplating a spyder build get the Bentleys manual for early to mid-1960s VW bug. That is pretty much how they go together - although a high performance engine will add some complexity. Ask questions during the build on this site and at spyderclub and you should have no problem. Hell, if I could do it...
