I just took delivery of my new VS last night..it's awesome!!

I'd like to find a reputable VW mechanic here in northern New Jersey that I can bring my car to for a routine tune up, while I read John Muir's book and familiarize myself with the VW engine.
I had a great Porsche mechanic close by that I used to bring my 911 to for service but he's way too expensive. This motor looks like something more my speed, once I figure out my way around it.

So, any recommendations??

Jim - It wasn't just me staring, my entire neighborhood was crammed in there with me!!

Bruce - I'd like someone to go over the engine and tansmission, just for my piece of mind before I start racking up the miles. I noticed last night that the oil temp gauge didn't move while I was driving. Not sure yet what's causing that but I'll need to get that sorted out asap. Thanks for the list of shops.
