Greetings!
Is anyone familiar with this VS? I am considering it, but believe it's been for sale for a long time (vaguely remember seeing it for sale a year or so ago). Thanks!

Seems fair price for very low mileage VS - if you like the outlaw look. Maybe he has the bumpers squirrel'ed away.
And even if he doesn't and you want bumpers, they're not that expensive.
Looks well fitted and also well optioned.
Looks like a dealer plate. Offer him $20K cash and see what happens!
If you’re looking for opinions, here’s mine: if I was looking for a car, that’s the one I would buy.

Me too. I'd at least take a hard look at it.
Yup. Done. Buy it!
With all the usual caveats for condition, it's nice to see a reasonably priced option out there. "Open to offers", I'd bet he's looking for 20K
Didn't Troy have one like that for sale last year?
It pushes all my buttons!
Just noticed it has a nice grey interior too! Missed that on first look. Plus wide fives with wheel-skinz. Buy it before someone else does.
I like the looks and the opinions on that black beauty, and you can't beat the price. In many ways it reminds me of Jim's 1956 style VS Speedster which is one of several splendid examples of how a 356A "Outlaw" should look like.

Well, Mike......Did'ya buy it yet?
looks good, almost like the one kirk built for me, different color,,sold it and was shipped to Begium i heard..
It has cruzin windows... Might be on of Troys.
Not mine, but he better buy it quick before I get back from Costa Rica.
I hope "The Wall" doesn't go up before you try to get back...... We know how you'se guys are near the "Northern Triangle".
That's a remarkably good, possibly too good to be true price.

That's a super deal !
Yeah, if I was in the market, BAM!
I’m new to this game, and of course pics on a CL don’t show everything, but for that money I’d say it is definitely worth a closer look.
Mine was advertised for roughly the same last year, and I was able to purchase it for much less. Being a newbie to the Speedster world, I worried about what I was getting into.
But, what made the buying process easier to stomach was at that price, you’d be able to get your money back if you decide Speedsters aren’t the right thing for you. You could even drop $5k into it, and not lose your shirt. Which is a pretty good position to be in.
Take the plunge.
Used gets you in and can get you out without a big penalty if you do not like it... but then you have to resist the madness to make it all new That is the hardest part of the trip.
Hmmm...Didn't get a reply from email or VM and now the CL ad has been deleted. Maybe it was too good to be true
Someone may have told him it was priced too low or it was a scam. Every time I put something on CL it get a lot of bogus offers that involve complicated transactions.
This is probably not the best place to post a message asking if a deal is good. There are vultures on this list, who are also looking for good deals, who will swoop right in and buy a car out from under you.
i heard a Nigerian price offered him 10% of the princes winning powerball ticket and he took it:}
