Hi! Just a newbie here.

I'm hoping someone might be able to give me some tips on selling a '55 Speedster Replica. It belongs to my mother-in-law and was the project of her late husband. She has tons of documentation about how it was built and where everything came from. Tons of photos while it was being built as well as current photos too. I've tried listing it on Craigslist, but think I may have better luck listing it in a more specialized forum.

Any advice about where to list it would be appreciated.

The car is in good shape and runs really well. It's less than immaculate, but has always been garage kept. Its a great car as is, or could be "tweaked" by an enthusiast.

Take lots of good pictures, find out manufacturer (assume CMC), make list of options (like engine particulars, wheels, gauges and interior), state location and post it here in Classifieds here. Also state how registered/titled - as this may make re-registration difficult in some states/countries.

Craigslist works if you offer at low or reasonable price. Of course, if you are in the Great White North, now is not time to sell at a higher "Spring price." THE SAMBA is good place to list too.
