Little dusty but in great overall condition. Paint, tires, suspension all in excellent shape. Metalwork - yes, metal - shows no evidence of prior accidents. The wife says I can only keep one toy and Penny wins out.

Will consider serious offers over $1k (pennies).

Terry, I'm pretty serious (ask anyone) and I'm bidding $1,001 for that bunch of scrap metal you want to foist on an unsuspecting world.

I'll send you a check for $40,000 if you could simply cash it, I'll have a driver pick up the car and for your trouble, you can keep another $40 (pretty generous of me, I know).

Don't try to sneak in a bid while I was making an edit and upping my previous offer.

I've seen this car. It's extremely light and will stop on a dime. The engine and transaxle are completely dry on the bottom - no leaks whatsoever.

Terry has had absolutely no maintenance issues with it over all the time he's owned it. I can see why his wife may say it has to go, though, as getting into it can be a struggle.

Legal in all 50 states - no problems with registration or insurance no matter where you are.

The Spyder is sold!

Wayne Carini contacted me off site - he's a lurker, you know - and expressed his interest in the car. I seriously considered his generous offer and, you know, he's probably one of the few guys who could actually fit in the car. But a true prince will be the new owner of this fabulous work of automotive art. He has requested anonymity which I will respect. Thanks to all who expressed an interest.
