HA! So there will be a third Spyder in your future.
Good luck with the sale, and welcome back to the fold, old friend!

This is info on car. Car is perfect with all issues sorted. I certainly may keep it if it doesn't sell. Now that I have fully recovered from my motorcycle accident thinking I really want a spyder again. Conv D is not slow. 120 hp. 0-60 in about 7 seconds. If any of you have owned or driven a spyder you understand the raw performance of these little cars. Regaining my health has certainly renewed my need for speed. Was hoping to keep the 356 but I just don't have the garage space right now. My D is a special car. New one like mine is over $80k. Asking $49k but price is always negotiable.
BTW I have not asked Henry to list it yet. I modified the old listing. Please don't call him until I contact him this week. Hope he will list it on his site.
I have lots of high res pics.

Phil gave me several right seater rides at Carlisle last year. It's a gorgeous color combo - very classic. IMs have impeccable fit and finish. The water cooled engine is very smooth. Believe he said 28 mpg were typical. That is a very popular engine for performance mods so it could easily be made into a 0-60 4.5 second tire smoker.
Have thought about adding performance to the car. It's a stout engine which I'm sure will run forever but kind of tough to modify. Neuspeed supercharger is made for my engine but neither Henry or Carey has performed this modification. Its a SOHC 2 valve/cylinder engine. Simple reliable engine but not really made for forced induction.
I'm willing to bet an egg sammich that, were you to wander over to the Audi area at Carlisle in May, you would be able to see several of those engines with mild to wild speed mods on them. Chris and me and his friend Will (who had that engine in his Audi) chatted with several guys there who ran that engine - bullet-proof bottom end and takes boost well.
This has been a tough decision but I've decided to keep my IM. Worked really hard to get the thing perfect. Selling it now makes no sense. There are really no options to make it any faster. Is it quick? Yes. Is it fast? Not really. But its beautiful and comfortable and very reliable. I'm still getting that spyder. Just not right now. Going to start saving my pennies and in 4 or 5 years I hope to have the IM and a spyder. Best of both worlds. Selling the IM would have been stupid. My Yorkie loves it.
Sounds like you are making the right decision. I have had sellers remorse after a couple of my sales after the fact. You have a great looking speedster. After you got it dialed in and then sell it, you may inherit a car than needs to be "dialed in". Sounds ok if you like to "dial in" stuff.....
