Ok so ive sold my body, wheels, seats and interior.

I have left a 1969-71 vw bug shortened pan with aluminum pans, clean and ready to bolt a speedster body onto.

Im sure it has lowered beam, ect..

It is in corpus christy, tx. It never made its way to up me in nebrsaka.

I have emailed the builder for pics but he hasnt sent them yet.

What is a pan worth? of course it rust free and w/ the aluminum pans it should be good to go.. it also has had por 15 applied, which is rust preventer i beleive.

Any offers?

Its a long complicated story , my speedster travels since March.

Quick review.

I was paying someone to build a frame for me in texas, he was going to have someone in florida who has a mold make me a body. I paid for it back April 1st.

As of mid-may I had heard nothing about the body and no pics of the frame being built so i bought that 91 fiberfab in MN that was for sale on here and thesamba.com.

When it arrived i then realized it was alot of work to complete and i wouldnt have time to complete it so i sold it on ebay and new owner picked it up wednesday.

I got my refund for the body of said speedster mentioned above but have not been refunded for the frame / work. The builder says he is confident he would sell it but being that i have not seen any pics of said frame / progress and the poor communication of said original speedster deal im not very confident he would get right on selling the frame. So i have listed it here and hopefully in a few other places to help see if there is need for a shortened chasis.

In theory, the person who is making the body is now able to complete a body so person could buy this frame(price unknown) and new body ($3500) and then put together their own speedster , which was my plan.

I jumped the gun and bought lots and lots of parts for the speedster that never happened, which a lesson was learned.

Trust NO ONE! (ok so im a little bitter)

The frame is suppose to be complete and sitting in Corpus Christy, TX ready for new owner. he charged me around $3000 for this frame looking back at our original emails and from what i have paid him already.

So maybe that wasnt such a brief summary.. :)

Would that be Steve Langford? I am working on a Speedster that was started by him, sold to folks in Maryland (they decided that to much time would be needed to finish), and finaly purchased be me up here in New Jersey.

My questions are general; who built the engine? Transaxel? Etc.

I've been trying to reach him for several months. Do you have a later e-mail than is listed on the Speedsterowners.com roster, or a home address for him?
