The mechanic that I have used in Charleston had a very bad run with his health this last month and now he is partially paralyzed in his right arm and lost the hearing in his right ear. He is LIQUIDATING his VW bone yard. He has over 20 bugs and more than 10 buses - in all shapes, sizes and condition. He has frames, fenders, lights, wheel, rims... He also has whole and parts/pieces to about 50 engines and trannies. (no Del Carbs though... I asked already). He has every style / configuration of exhaust systems too.

I have volunteered to help him with inventory, so if you know you need something shoot me a PM and I will compile a list and get back to you with prices and availability. I am going to take a bunch of pictures on Monday too. I can't say that it will be the quickest turnaround, but he needs to clean the land up to please his wife.

Lane, yeahup, that is him.

I know for a fact he has a deck lid for a 56 bug. I will ask him if he will part with it as a part, or find if it is sticking with the car and selling it whole. I will also see if he has an extra floating around in one of the 10 container trucks full of parts too.

I also forgot to mention, he has seveal ghias (but none like Vinces) and things too.
