Separated the wheat from the chaff

Looks like ebay no longer allows replicas to post ads to the Porsche 356 section. It's off to the replica section for the unwashed chaff.

Must be those PCA guys at it again ~

It's liable to get real crowded over there when they start separating the Ford, Model T, Model A, Chevy, truck, Ferrari, 911, Cord, Thunderbird, Jaguar, MG and other replicas. :>)

Not to mention some of TC's Franken-Porsche creations.

Just this month I found a lone 550 Spyder replica in the classifieds in the PCA national magazine "Panorama." I cant recall ever seeing one in there since 1988. It surprised me to be quite honest.

They look lonely without all of the replicas to keep them company. Now it just looks like a bunch of expensive old cars.

The PCA guys seem much more accepting of Sypder replicas than they are of Speedsters. Must be the cost and rarity of real Spyders. I guess that means if THEY can't afford a real one, a replica is ok.

Funny... i looked at ebay last night for the first time in a long time and was confused to see only a handful of ads under Porsche 356. That explains it.

Think E-Bay will give the 356 Replicas their own line. It might not be PCA but rather Porsche that made them seperate the replicas out.

Look at it this way, we now have our own section without those silly priced real ones
