Sept 19th is Ferry Porsche's birthday and in the upper end of the N.W. (better known as B.C.) there is a "Drive your 356 Day" event that will cruise to brunch at the famous Harrison Hot Springs Resort. All 356's including replicas are welcome. After brunch we can view the World Championship Sand Castle competition (optional) enjoy Harrison village and lakefront then take a back road cruise over to Chilliwack for some refreshments at our acreage before heading home. Anyone interested in participating can reach me off line for contact info regarding the gathering spot for the drive to Harrison.

Hey Ron,
Dave Bambridge is organizing the drive and we are helping out on the post brunch hospitality. You can contact him at cidalina@direct.ca for information on departure place and time. I have no idea how many he expects but it should be great with any number. Henry is pumped on it. The Harrison Hotel is a very nice destination and are famous for their Sunday Brunch.

Ron L, Bruce and others,
Any interest in attending this event? Looks like a decent weekend approaches and the group will leave Aldergrove Lake Park by 10AM on Sunday heading to Harrison via Cultus Lake (where I'll join in). Henry is doing the drive so you might want to team up with him.

Ayyyy......we was talkin' like Pirates last year this time on the Disney Cruise. Had a Plank Walkin at Castaway Cay and all......even a visit from Long John Silver, hisself!

What could be better for a bunch o'pillagers like us? The weather be clearin' fer Sunday, we can motorvate our wee cars about, AND we can all be talkin like Pirates whilst leerin' at the wenches through our wee cannon ports off Port and Starbd'

And if the Weather turns foul, we'll belay the sun an' be hoistin the canvas to make the cannon ports just slits so's those wenches can only see the whites of our eyes.......Arrrrgh!

Ayyyy! Talk like a Pirate whilst pilotin' yer Speedster this Sunday........They be faster than Corsairs or Briganteens and the scourge of the back roads!

Gordon
The Pirate from the Ocean State Arrrrrgh!
Here are some pics from our Sept 19th drive.
We had 7 cars of which I had the only replica. Darrien had his new '53 Outlaw and Gerry Sung brought out is beautiful restored Speedster, Harry Geddes drove is '58 Meissen Blue Cab plus two A coupes and a B Roadster rounded out the group. Fabulous back road touring, great bunch at the Harrison Hot Springs Hotel and some suds back at our place made for a fine Drive your 356 Day.
