I've got one on my Drill Press Motor......does that count?

I've got one. The belt runs from one pulley on the alternator to the other pulley on the crankshaft end. Is that serpitine enough?

looks cool, save your money.

looks cool and works well. Not really necessary for a low power motor but does offer increased reliabilty and peace o' mind for big power, high revvers (200hp range). My Dad changed to one about 4 years ago and it solved his fanbelt problems on his 2.3 or so type 1. Tiny v-belt/pulley just couldn't keep up.

Type 4 requires weld mods for fitment. That's next years project.
