Troy, Fun video but spooky after a while. Why no one in front of you and all the traffic heading the other way? Is it just a SoCal thing (traffic)? I began thinking of the only guy headed towards St. Helens when it blew. But then his hat would have blown off and he wouldn't have your SEG.

since fresno is FLAT you must be in the foothills north of Fresno towards Millerton(?) lake.

That is hwy 168 out of Fresno and Clovis. It goes near lake Millerton on it's way up to Shaver and Huntington lake.

I don't know why there was so much traffic in the opposite direction, but part of the reason there was nobody in front of me, was because the wideangle of the GoPro lens makes it appear that you are going faster than your really are. So I probably wasn't catching up with anyone. Trust me, I was driving a much safer speed than it looks in the video.

How fast were you going?
Troy, is that just a camera safety tether or a remote on/off switch cord tossing about there?
It's a tether. Someone posted that their's came off during a drive and the wife grabbed it just in time. Also, Jim advised me to tether it.

It's the wideangle lens. Lots more real estate in the picture moving past the lens, makes it appear faster than it really is.
