Ok you shamed me into it. I am now a paid member. i have gotten a lot of good and bad information from this group. However the entertainment value exceeds $49.

Yes I am retired, but I do have other things to do, like drive my car. I live at Lake Tahoe and we are between seasons now. Boating season is over, Skiing does not start until T day. It is too cold for golf and driving days are numbered. I was long overdue to pay up as are most of the rest of you.

I'm not dead yet. I am feeling much better!

Dr. Phil ;

You'd be correct:

Warfarin (also known by the brand names Coumadin, Jantoven, Marevan, Uniwarfin) is an anticoagulant normally used in the prevention of thrombosis and thromboembolism, the formation of blood clots in the blood vessels and their migration elsewhere in the body, respectively. Warfarin is commonly but incorrectly referred to as a blood thinner. It was initially introduced in 1948 as a pesticide against rats and mice, and is still used for this purpose, although more potent poisons such as brodifacoum have since been developed.
