I have an 2002 Intermeccanica Convert. D. Where is the access point to pull the shifter rod out of the car? I'd like to replace the shifter bushing.
FYI, I've searched online and haven't been successful in finding any help.

You only need to move the rod forward enough to allow it to drop out of the steel hanger that holds the nylon shift rod bushing, ( walk it along w/a long needle nose piers) pop in a replacement , grease the edge of the shift rod and push it into the nylon bushing .
@Hrant do yourself a favor and look into the EV4U brass bushing...good for the life of the car...their web site has a video that will walk you through the entire job...as well just replace the shift rod if the turret is wore out....then get a updated PORSCHE bushing vintage speed shifter....you wont be sorry.
