Shipping a speedster

I need to ship a Speedster from Southern Florida to New York. Does anyone have\know a preferred carrier?

I'm not sure if Alan Merklin goes that far south, but if he does, he'd be my choice. He's a frequest visitor to this site, and owns a car transport business (as well as a nice Speedster). Alan?

Have you thought of flying down to test drive it - then drive up to Sanford FL and put it on the AutoTrain to Lorton VA? Its a 3.5 hr drive from there to NY (on a good day) - I'm guessing another 3.5 from Southern FL to Sanford too. The car will need 4" of ground clearance to be accepted on the train.

I don't run down to Florida but my transport company has an on going association with McNutt Auto Transport....Most GM dealers contract with McNutt to do Dealer to Dealer transfers nation wide.

Florida to NY is a well traveled route figure $600 for an open carrier and $850 enclosed + -
