shock absorbers

Any opinions on the differences between shock aborbers. They will be used on a IM frame with 28 mm torsion bars. I want a firm ride, but not buckboard stiff. What sway bars would you consider?

Vehicle weight? 1200-1600lbs. usualy will work well with KYG GR-2
gas shocks. Regular "stock" volks shocks do not seem to live for very long.

Heavier gas shocks can be too harsh, given the light weight of most Spyder/Speedster cars.

I've been running mine for two years now and swear by them, not at them.

Me too; those are the KYB's that come with all VS builds and they seem to work fine; I've read that they're priced pretty reasonably too.

Your 3.2 liters engine definitely adds weight! I think Henry's advice will be worth to follow. He knows what he is doing. Classic Koni's?

Jim Ward has Koni's on his car, Bill Steele's car had Koni's.

Henry spoke with the Koni Rep at the SEMA show a couple of years ago and found the correct model for his car. I would go with his suggestion.

Howard, is your car 911 suspension, 3.2 and a 915 trans? There are only a hand full of cars like that out there and Henry has made them all. 911 suspension / shocks are different and I would guess you car will weigh 2000 to 2200lbs dry. Probably the Koni specials or maybe the Blistiens.
