Short notice, really small event, Highland, MD

So I just thought: well maybe others nearby (if there are any) might want to stop by. Weather looks like it might be OK. My little town (Highland, MD), incorporated in 1850-something, I think, maybe before that, is having a small carnival, featuring a bunch of folks standing around, eating good BBQ and drinking beer, and so forth. Location: MD routes 216 and 108, just south of Clarksville. It will be

THIS SATURDAY, like tomorrow;

Runs mid morning to mid afternoon, I think, very informal, and they usually have a drive-up car show too. Last time I was there the cars were in the Post Office parking lot a little west of towncenter down 216. I plan to be there for at least a little while in the Speedster.

Just spotted this, Kelly. Keep us in mind for next year, car show or no. As it was, K & I got out in the boat for an hour. This is big news in the Ericson household, because the boat in question (a >cough< 1984 Renken 16) was purchased and dragged home two years ago, and has resided in the driveway and/or garage ever since, as the trailer was rebuilt, motor was replaced, etc. etc. It's a total piece of junk! And yet . . . and yet . . . it floats! Hoping even to get a fishing trip in before the season closes.
