I have used the below linked rubber weather strip on at least 8 sets of side curtains. 45 degree the corners and dab super glue to cement them together.
On the top of the side curtain, the taper faces in on the forward edge and bottom the taper faces out.
Making a couple sets of card board templates will result in a decent set of curtains. Due to windshield and top positions, the left and rights never are exactly the same.

Alan's a genius
as we all surely know
if he can't make it
without it you'll go

What he might have forgotten
and he didn't say
is that if you use super glue
a residue will stay

It will fog up your windows
as if it was snow
all 'round the edges
a white haze will show

Try to avoid it
use vaporless if you can
but in all other matters heed him
for Alan's truly The Man.

He's still on drugs
from the pain in his neck
for this one we'll forgive him
... and 'we'll see' 'bout the next.
Ah alas you will soon see
My neck is now fixed,I'm pain killer free
No more Rx drugs to buy at a large fee
No side effects noted
I can now even pee
Super glue always has worked for me
Side curtains, weather strip,
Or a cut on a knee

Can't be sure how long it may last
Like taking a Speedy to MAACO
Does the paint really, last?
Can't be sure to say yes or no
As I've sold them all way too fast
It's on to the next one
perhaps .....after Christmas has past.
I'm in hysterics!
Killin' myself ovah heah!

The cyanoacrylic 'super glue' that I've had bad luck with in the past is the signature-smelling clear liquid in the white-and-green pinch-tube and actually carries the brand name "Krazy Glue."
It's good for everything EXCEPT clear plastic or glass. I went to Michaels and got some Gorilla Glue and several other brands to test them on polystyrene, vinyl and acrylics -- I'll provide feedback when I have results. I may also try a small sample of my Lexan, just to see if any of these glues affect polycarbonate adversely.
It gives me something to do ...
