side metal trim

i know i have seen the instructions on placement for side metal trim. Anyone have the exact locations?

Not sure if the CMC manual under the above Library tab show this ..
Go to either the JPS or VS sites and use the pics as a reference,
I use 1/4" blue tape as a guide.

My CMC which is a little older than yours had little dimples in the body where the trim goes.

You might be able to find traces of them.

i hummed and hawww'd about placement. i ended up printing a bunch of pictures of real 1956 concours restored 356's, closing the garage door, turning the lights out, bringing out the laser level and marking the placement with painters green tape (1/4"). turn the lights on - do a gut check - repeat as nessesary.

you have to line up the door latch so the trim is in line
