Hi, it was recommended that I buy 2 convex mirrors to get the range in the mirrors to see out of passenger one. They arrived but I do not see that they have anymore range of motion than originals? Am I missing something?

They were a significant improvement over the flat mirrors on mine. It’s not the range of motion that’s different - it’s the shape of the glass.
Oh ok ill try one.
It'll work just like the passenger mirror on your daily driver. Objects in mirror WILL be closer than they appear.
Especially if it's Lane.......
.
Uh, wait a minute, here.
I ordered one of these from Sierra Madre for the driver's side and it was peachy. So peachy that about a year later I ordered another for the passenger side.
It arrived in the same box (marked 'convex'), but it was a flat mirror. I sent them this photo to establish that. (Objects in mirror should appear farther away, right?).
They sent me a real convex mirror back.
But keep in mind that there's not a huge difference between the curved and the flat. They're not like some of those extreme wide-angle stick-on mirrors. But if you do a test like the one above, you should see a noticeable difference in size between an object and its reflected image.

Absolutely correct, Mitch. The curve in the glass is just enough to make them much more usable without distortion. I will probably find a convex round mirror for the Raydyot on the passenger side of my car.
@Lane Anderson @Sacto Mitch you guys are great! Thank you for taking the time to help me. I put the passenger on and i can see down the side of the car with a little lean from the drivers seat so i will check the traffic tonight on our drive. Not sure if I will need the drivers one. Maybe I will return one if not. Was $222 for two with shipping.
