Side Trim Fit

Does anyone know if the side trim from Klasse fits a CMC?

In particular, I am wondering about the pieces on either side of the door handle.

TC recommended a short while back that using original or replacement original trim on a fiberglass replica wasn't the optimal use of a hard-earned dollar. I'm sure he'll be along in a day or so to suggest using a roll of the type he's got to do the whole car.
It's a cut-as-you-go thing.
I'd suggest waiting until he posts the wisdom, or do a search of the site for trim -- it was recent, but I can't recall when it came up. December or January, I think.

I have the plastic stick-on type that came with the CMC kit now.

It looks like the silver layer is coming loose. So, I am thinking about replacing it with aluminum.

Check with Henry at IM, he has the solid extruded polished aluminum trim that easily attaches on to the body using small screws and nuts from the back side of the body. I have installed this on a Street Beasts Speedster and looks great.

I got mine from JPS ($40?) and it fit fine. I did have to cut the door pieces to adjust for the handles (no big thing). I used painters tape to tape it on and adjust accordingly then used a dry erase marker to trace the trim and drilled for the clips in between the lines. It all came out nicely.

At just $40.00 for the JPS kit, I've TOTALLY changed my opinion.
That a great price for a terrific set-up.

Just don't make a habit of this kinda thing . . .
