They just ordered a second batch of my wing windows and visors today so now I gotta go make another batch of 50 made. You can find them by typing in the search box. "Sun Visor Set for Speedster Replicas or Wing Window set for Speedster Replicas". They are also on Samba.......Here we go !.........Bruce

A SOC success story! Kudos to you, Bruce.
Quality always wins out in the long run.
Hey Bruce,...Does Sierra Madre carry your foot pegs?
Hi Carl........No, they weren't interested in the foot Pegs. My guess is that they don't realize the value of having a left foot foot rest because a lot of owners of real Speedsters don't drive them far enough or long enough to get fatigue in that leg ?
Bruce
Putting this in one thread.
Congrats Bruce. Great quality on a great product.
Bruce I think what your saying is that they hardly drive them.... I follow El Guapo's motto ... DRIVE IT !!! Ray
Since everyone will be reading these posts today.... HELLO!
Bruce
I finally installed the footrest that you donated to the Carlisle raffle. Thank you! Nice engineering-it is comfortable and the foldable option is ingenious-especially when my wide foot is too far left on the clutch.

Thank You Joel.......It would be nice to hear from the other people who received my raffle donations at that event.....Feedback is very useful ! The Wing Windows seem to be the most popular item right now but I have sold more Foot Pegs. These Foot Pegs are very popular with anyone who drives their car on long trips and recognize the need for one. It is apparent that replica owners are my best customers for all my accessories. Having been picked up by Sierra Madre Collection has expanded my exposure to the Replica Family and it's possible that the Wing Window/Sun Visor Accessories will surpass the Foot Peg in sales. It really is amazing that I took an idea in my head, carved it out on a small milling machine and lathe, had it polished, posted it on the SOC web, and now I'm scrambling to keep up with orders for all my products.
I was talking to my wife and she says this is the 5th "career change" that I've made. All I ever wanted to do was just stay busy and active and enjoy retirement doing stuff that I wanted to do. I guess I'm doing that and I guess I'm happy too. The alternatives are to scary to think about !...........Cheers to you all and Stan....Write the book !........Bruce
"All I ever wanted to do was just stay busy and active and enjoy retirement doing stuff that I wanted to do" Well Bruce I too am retired....Funny how building Speedsters can consume one's time in a, very good way... Alan Drclock
Yep. Retirement can either be a boring drag, or an exciting adventure. It all depends on you. What you end up doing in many cases is a continuation of interests and hobbies you have had in the past, because now you have the time and mindset to pursue them further (and at your own pace). Or it can be a brand new interest that you've always wanted to try, and now you can.
Just don't waste your time, because you don't know how much is being allotted to you.

Hola Dr. Clock...And your still ticking in an UN-syncopated way !! Ha Ha ! It's always a pleasure for me to read your posts here. Yes...these Speedsters are addictive in more ways that I have time to mention here. When my Wife sees me staring off into the blue she just says, "thinking about Speedsters aren't you !".....What can I say ? Then there's always the many reasons to take the Speedster somewhere rather than the Honda. I get nixes on that one a lot due to "hair issues" ! Thanks for your comment Alan...Bruce
Bob....You're so right and thank you for the insightful attachment. I have Friends who retired and spent about 6 or more months being really busy with stuff around their house, then took a couple trips around the US to visit family and friends, then came home and became a couch potato. Most of them are either dead now or in really poor health. This was in 5 years or less into retirement. It seems that the commonality among them is they didn't have any deep seated interests or alternative skill sets.
Yup....We really need to take advantage of the time we have left. Heck I'm so busy I don't even think about how much time I have left....I really like that !.......Bruce
