On thursday, June 24 I was driving down I-15 from Vegas to San Diego. From about 1/2 mile away I spot a sweet silver speedster. I am just an observer since I am not driving my IM. As I pass him feeling like the girl that was not asked to the prom, I spot three more red ones pulling out from the side of the freeway. Two of them were standard and one was flared (I think-I would not testify to this in court). I was wondering if any one knows who they were and where they were from. I think the silver one had New Mexico plates.

I saw a white speedster with a brown suitcase tied to it's rear zooming across the Yolo Causeway just west of Sacramento heading to the Bay Area.

Last week on a holiday at Cambria just south of Hearst Castle on hwy 1, I saw a sign for vintage automobile stuff and checked it out.

I asked the owner if he had any 356 or speedster things and he said "none at all, you are a day late and a dollar short." So I quized him and it seems a 356 club or Porche group meets there and everything has been cleaned out.

Another store a couple of doors away had German posters (14x17 inches or so) of 356s racing and sales ads. Lots of neat VW pictures and some of Spyders. Not the best copies, but certainly "garage-worthy".
