I just noticed that a movie I have seen a couple of times that has a speedster in it is not on the list.

The movie is "Breathless" starring Richard Geere. It's sort of a "dark" psycho tale. In the beginning R. Geere steals a Speedster parked in front of a casino in Las Vegas and heads for Los Angeles, CA.

A couple of events happen along the way that complicate Geere's character's life. If your like Jerry Lee Lewis you'll find the movie interesting, the tune "Breathless" (by Jerry) not only is the title track but it is a continuing theme throughout the movie.

No Gerbils were hurt in the movie.

The earlier version of Breathless, I assume the same movie, with Jean-Paul Belmondo and Jean Seeberg (sp?) was really dark. It took place in Paris and was in French with subtitles, also B&W rather than color, which added to the to the off beat nature of the film. I should see the new version for comparison, although I'm not that wild about R.G. as an actor.
