The ad will look much better on eBay, but our SOC site doesn't like some of the html.

Hey Alan. Actually I never stopped, just slowed down a bit with the divorce, move and winter (if you can call it winter in Calif.) I've also got a black superwide body Vintage in the garage right now. What do you have in the works?
Red CMC stock body soon to be in route to my home shop from SC
Is that where everyone puts their jack stands or is that just your preference?
you remake a very nice 356 Troy!
that thing is CLEAN!
Wow, between you and John at JPS, that is one amazing ride!
Wish I was the next owner!
Troy - Is it safe to say that you "sort these out" before auctioning?
You know, I think I'd feel more comfortable buying one that's been through the Troy Sloan Exclusive Sorting Process than straight from the factory, particularly after some of the issues we've seen lately.
Lane I was thinking the same thing. Troy you do incredible work and the cruzin windows look fantastic.
Irs chassie, and missing a lot of importaint cooling items.
Awesome looking ride!!
Nice work Troy! The car looks good too.
I bought my VS from Troy and it is purr-fect. couldn't be happier. he even puts up with my occasional texting of dumb questions.
Hi Troy,
I just posted a question on Ebay for yourself.
Regards, Russ

Is that my old Porsche knob shifter that I see installed on this car?

Troy---congrats on the wonderful marketing skills you possess. The way you show a car with both still and moving pix plus the solid descriptions you give just sing.
I'm damned impressed. Keep up the great work!
Troy and Tom, I would like to get a shift knob like that one. Where did you find it?
Only one place http://www.mainelycustombydesi...ccessories_misc.html
Oh nice! Thanks Tom.
Troy, I wish I had some Vince-worthy story to go along with the shifter to increase your resale value, but alas, no ;-)
Troy, I got a couple guys breathing real hard on my 996. Keep me in mind in the very off chance this gorgeous speedster doesn't sell. Seriously, I'll buy it the day I sell my 996 if it's still available.
Troy, nice ad. You sure know how to promote your vehicles.
Troy: nice ad.
Todd: Yes, that is a good place in the rear for a pair of jack stands. In the front, a good place is under the corners of the footwell, right under where the dual corner body-to-pan bolts attach.
I used to have a picture of proper placement points but couldn't quickly find it. When I do, I'll email it to you.
Maybe we can start a different "where to you place your floor jack" thread. This seems to come up yearly.

***edit*** found it! Look here:
Aloha Troy,
Nice car! I couldn't tell from the pictures but is that '69 IRS pan converted to swing axle? Also did I read right, the hubs are wide five VW (5x205)?

Is there any problem with jacking the front under the beam?
I don't think so Jack, that's where I jack up the Spyder. Troy, looks like another winner.
Hey, if you're working on your car and someone wants to talk to you, your wife could say, "Jack's jackin around with the jack."
Man, I want that car!!
Troy---daang--I have no idea how my post about jacking a VS got on this thread. There was a thread somewhere about jacking cars and I thought I was posting there! Sorry about the hiJACK. Totally unintentional.
