The amount of attention this car will get can actually be a little bit embarrassing when everyone is gathered around your car and the guy with the six figure Ferrari or Viper is almost ignored. You will actually feel sorry for them, especially when you consider the cost of their cars compared to what you paid for this classic beauty. It's no BS, just ask any Speedster owner. If you're looking for fun and excitement and you like the idea of "the wind in your hair," but think a motorcycle is too dangerous or, you already have a motorcycle, but your significant other is tired of riding on the back and you want something that is just as exciting, but more comfortable and way more classy, then this car is for you! This Speedster was one of two that were built for an NBC TV series called "Undercovers" in 2010 and while the car was a hit, the show was cancelled after just one season. The photo below is a promo shot of this car and the video below shows the second car (not this one) very briefly at 0:03 and again at 1:43 into the video. The Speedster "hump" was removed to install a new top and tonneau. It cannot be reinstalled without removing the top, but is included in the sale. 
This classic Speedster replica comes with a stunning, silver paint job, which is in beautiful condition! It has a beautiful camel (tan) Allante interior and was factory built by JPS Speedsters, so you know that means quality. This Speedster is virtually brand new and has been driven less than 600 miles since it was built. It has never been driven in the rain and the exterior, interior, top and side curtains are in excellent, like new or brand new condition. The undercarriage is sparkling and has new floor pans rather than reconditioned and repainted. The chrome wheels with Porsche crested nipple hubs are simply spectacular and the tires still have the little "nubs" on them.
The gold Porsche script on front, dash and rear, the Porsche emblem badge on the hood handle, headlight stone guards and the Reutter badge on the side could have added the finishing touches, but there is more!
This car also comes with super cool, custom made, top down "Cruzin Windows" that almost nobody else has, because I make them myself!
("Cruzin Windows" are also available separately on eBay) This beautiful Speedster is built on a 1969 VW pan and has current registration (to July 2nd, 2013) in California as a 1969 VW, with no smog certification requirements. When comparing this Speedster with Speedsters from other manufacturers, pay very close attention to the quality of the build. Check that the doors, hood and trunk all fit smoothly and are aligned properly, with no gaps.
The engine is a big 1835cc VW with dual Empi carbs. It has a "Freeway Flyer" transmission, with four wheel disk brakes to stop on a dime. It starts every time with just a turn of the key, sounds great, pulls well and runs VERY strong!
