I still have a soft spot for the '65-66 Triumph Spitfire.  When I graduated from college (while looking for a job), I bought 2 for $150.  One had broken crank and other had rolled.  In just over a month, I swapped parts and repainted the car BRG.  Very fun car to drive.  Had friend with BRG GT6 - always plotted to get 2L GT6 engine, hood and running gear and swap to the Spitfire but sold for a new 914.
