Hi there. Any Vintage Spyder owners out there who can let me know the size of the tubing they use for their chassis? Bonus for wall thickness!

@VSpyder can tell you his wall thickness if he sees this. Tube diameter is 2" and it is ladder style (parallel tubes through the rockers).
You didn't ask, but I'll share anyway; Beck is 3" DOM seemless tubing, CNC bent, 0.125" wall. I was always told, but have never verified, that the original spyder was closer to 0.080" wall (metric of course) and one of the reasons Chuck never felt the need to further triangulate the frame was due to the increased stiffness by using stronger tubing to start with.
I've seen a lot of the Beck copies with non-DOM tube (as-welded), thinner wall, and even cut and mitered "bends". I cannot comment on the production of TR Spyders and I know a lot changed through the years for them, but I always tell clients that just because it looks similar doesn't mean squat.
There ya go, no real answers to your question and a lot of info you didn't;t ask about. That's why I love this site. :-)
Hello,
2" main frame rails 0.125 wall thickness anything 1"3/4 is 0.95 wall thickness. @brsturges hope this helps.

Carey and Greg, thank you both so much for this information. Very helpful for sure.

To add to this I think the Vintage Spyder frame/chassis is a space frame, not a ladder frame.
And they use 4130 chromoly DOM tube.
