Size of tiers

Hi now I have bought my self new rims for my car but he had 4.5" wheels and I just got 5.5" and was thinking if any one here can tell what size of tiers will be good for my cmc speedster.

My 2002 IM has Bridgestone Potenza 185.65.R15 on 5.5" Mangels. Nothing rubs anywhere, but you can't hardly get a credit card between the back sidewalls and the fender openings :) Just about right!

WOW - your car has come a long ways! Nice subbie transplant! You can cut the inner lip off the wheel well and get about 1/2" more clearance (more authentic too) - sure would be nice to have little wider tire with that hot engine!

185/65-15 tire is a good choice, but it may not fit. There really is only one way to find out-get a 185mm tire mounted on one of your new wheels and do a test fit. When you test fit in the rear make sure you put the wheel/tire on both sides. Many speedster bodies don't fit perfectly on the pan, and may be skewed to one side slightly, like my IM is.
