Congrats!  Do make sure that you go completely over the car before heading out. i.e. all suspension components , every nut bolt, hose clamp and wire connection as you should with any hand crafted vehicle,  this gives you peace of mind and confidence in a safe ride.

Thanks Guys... I've already got a running list of stuff to sort through, most of it is EXTREMELY minor. Admittedly, i'm the opposite of mechanical / handy (one of the reasons i went with the subaru engine) but i'm also hanging out with a buddy of mine who has a '68 beetle and a dune buggy too... he knows his way around and i'm going to put him to work on it.

Thank you... It's just me, my wife and the dog in the back. Nobody likes the cats so they don't get credit.

HA... I'd definitely buy a model home with a speedster in the garage.. try to throw it in with the deal.

We moved in about a month and a half ago.. there's a side room / workbench area to the right of the speedster that you can sorta see. That's where all the junk is. Anything else int he main part of the garage and we wouldn't be able to get out of our cars

Cats definitely don't count. Heck my kids don't count anymore. Wife and dog definitely count!

Thanks Marty! It actually doesn't have a name. Just a number. We picked it out of a swatch book because we could fine what we had in our head. Bali blue was too dark and the azure blue samples just weren't right (for us). I can get the code though. I need to anyway. 

My wife and I call it "speedster blue" when we see other things in the same shade, but based on our location I'm thinking of calling it "Laguna Blue".  Is that already a know color?

I was very much wanting a dark-ish blue for my car, having seen a stunning dark blue 911 a friend has.  Something like what you have here, that is, until I fell for the dark red.  Your selections, as mentioned, are spot on.

Great to hear from another owner in OC. If you're ever going cruising, or to any shows or meet-ups, don't hesitate to reach out.

Old and dear friend. Thought you might know him. You two remind me of each other and I thought you might have bumped into him in his Speedster. DP ain't exactly a metropolis.

Congrats, I guess living close by helps in getting it delivered   (What I wanted to say was ... you can bring a louisville slugger to check on your cars progress)  just kidding.
