Drove about 40 minutes today. Car ran fabulous. I just noticed a slight squeaking noise when letting the clutch go and bringing my foot up. Is there possibly something that has to be greased? Thanks.

Cable operated clutch, correct?
Probably the pedal pivot needs some grease.
He has a 915 trany and a cable clutch and a type 1 pedal cluster but come to think of it, it might be a leather squeak from his Italian leather
I probably would've known that, but Marty never let me drive. It did pull really nice though, as I did get a ride.
I concur with Ray- after this long, wet winter your shoes need re-breaking in!

Italian leather gloves all worn in
I used to hear that same squeak.....but it went away after my left knee replacement.

Marty, you will have to have your mechanic pull the carpet to see the pedal cluster as the mechanism is under a FGlass panel covered with carpet.
Not sure how to oil it, or grease it @DannyP boy would know, but I only know how your car is built )
Depends on the pedal cluster. It might have a zert on it, but mine does not.
put some EYEtalian olive oil on all the fittings on the pedal..

Most Type 1 pedal cluster don’t have grease fittings, but they should. Sounds like what you need. I don’t know how you’d get the floor panel out of the way.
The floor panel is below the carpet which is glued with contact cement so it is a Pull. carefully To expose the area but I would simply risk a bit of clear JigaLoo in the whole properly angled you might get it to work without removing Anything

@Marty Grzynkowicz if you look via your gaz pedal hole, you can see the mechanism... use the straw that comes with the Jig A loo can and see if you can get it is ... you should be able to do this easily. All you need to do is look under the gaz pedal and pull the carpet gently and you can expose the mechanism.
I know I can see with the naked eye the mechanism on mine.
Great, thanks I didn't pull that piece up I pull the piece underneath the mat up. I'll check it out later.
The whole pedal mechanism SHOULD have a grease fitting on it. Once every 5 years ought to do it!
And Marty, that sounded LOUD to me, not a quiet squeak.

Ray, your right, I could lift the carpeting up there but need to get it out in the brighter light cuz I can't see much in the garage. waiting for a load of mulch right now. the honeydoo's always get in the way, lol
So what did you do ?
Ray, I got a little lubricant in there and it helped but I had to take the car in anyways. So I had the shop fix it. They said they went in from the bottom.
