Came thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis close to selling my speedster for about double what I paid for it. Then an older guy pitches up and tells me that he can see that I'm in two minds about it and that I should rather shove it in a lock up for a few months and wait till the bug bites me again.

Only took a day because I got hold of a seller who was selling a set of 912 gauges that I picked up for a song.......

The spark (I'm glad to say) is back.

Hey Gary,

The disease of Speedsteria replicitis may seem to come and go, but it's very difficult for medical science to affect a complete cure. Even if it goes in remission and you sell, it will come back when you least expect it.

So, no worries, mate. Even if you sell the ride you have, (and for a tidy profit no less), there's lots more new Speedy projects out there that need your attention. You'll be back.

Assuming that you paid the "going" price for your car and not $25.00, I would have taken the money tnad then re-invested in another (maybe, better equipped) car.
