SoCal Caravan to Pismo;



For those who wish to join our traditional caravan to the Central Coast, here are the details. We typically have 15-20 cars in this group. Great fun and quite a spectacle. Please arrive at the Topanga Ranch rendezvous with a full tank of gas.

WHEN:
Friday, June 1st, 2012

WHERE:
Topanga Ranch Motel, just north of where Topanga Canyon intersects Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu Beach.

TIME:
Rendezvous 10:00 and leave parking lot at 10:30

ROUTE:
* North on Hwy 1 along Malibu coastline
* Take Los Posas north to Highway 101 (lunch stop & fuel in Camarillo)
* Hwy 101 into Santa Barbara to junction of Hwy 154
* Hwy 154 through mountains and past Cachuma Lake/Solvang/Los Olivos
* Rejoin Hwy 101 continue north, refuel in Santa Maria and continue to Pismo Beach
* ETA in Pismo 4:00PM

David no need for drugs: Rx for a 2kg burrito, a length of hose to the carburetors and you can skip the gas stop on Las Posas. Just keep that black Speedy to the back of the pack. ;<)

The "Wild Thing" is almost ready for Pismo....

I'll be at Topanga Friday, Chrissy won't be coming this year, she will be studying for final and Graduation from UCSD. Here is a photo of my favorite soprano on the business end of the stage at Carnegie Hall. She will be performing with the La Jolla symphony Choir.
