SoCal caravan to SLO 2019

Been looking forward to this since last June!! We can't wait to see everyone!! 

For the first time, the SoCal group might actually arrive before the NorCal group.

Been doing some traveling to like, well you know, Florida, Tahoe, etc..

Looks like this is shaping up to be a great event this year.   T-shirts are flying off the rack..  and the south is getting there caravan together.

 @Terry Nuckels.  I would like to arrive before the south PLEASE!!  Lol 

 I am flattered and truly honored that there have been several request for autographed t-shirts.   Now, I will have to speak to my publicist, But I’m sure it will be ok’d!!!  Lol lol ...  But it’s Scott Norton @OCC  who was the real Genius, he took my idea and created the design .. I’m sure he will be happy to autograph the shirts as well..lol

I’m with @Dan Stewart been waiting a year see everyone and all the new kids.. and don’t worry about which car you bring .. We just want to see your happy a$$ there.

SOCers from SoCal/AZ area will have the usual Friday morning rendezvous in Malibu the weekend of West Coast SLO Cruise 2019. Here is our usual trip sheet.

Malibu Rendezvous / 10:00 Friday morning, June 7th

10:00AM - Meet at Topanga Ranch Motel, 18711 Pacific Coast Hwy (PCH), Malibu. This is just north of the Pacific Coast Hwy/Topanga Cyn intersection, which is 8 miles north of where the I-10 Fwy ends on PCH in Santa Monica. Please arrive with at least a half tank of gas!

10:30AM – Depart Topanga Ranch parking lot heading to Camarillo (42 miles - 1 hr)

* From Topanga travel North on Hwy 1 for 35 miles to Los Posas Rd (Exit 107).
* Exit Los Posas Rd, turn RIGHT. Continue on Los Posas to Hwy 101 (7 miles)
* Cross over Hwy 101 into far LEFT LANE to first signal (W. Daily Dr). Turn LEFT on W. Daly Dr to McDonalds back parking lot. Lunch & top off fuel (ETA approx. 11:30-11:45)

12:45PM - Camarillo to Solvang (85 miles – 1hr 40 minutes)

* Enter ramp for 101 North * Continue 101 north to Santa Barbara and to Solvang
Approaching Solvang * Exit 246 for Lompoc/Solvang (Exit 140-A)
* Turn RIGHT onto Hwy 246 to Chevron or Mobil station. Rest stop & top off fuel.

Solvang to SLO (75 miles – 1 hr 30 minutes)

* Enter ramp for 101 North
* Continue 101 North to SLO
* Approaching SLO, exit Grand Ave/Cal Poly (Exit 203 D) turn RIGHT onto Grand.
* Continue to traffic signal, Monterey, turn RIGHT onto Monterey.
* Continue ¼ mile on Monterey, Quality Suites will be on LEFT

4:00 PM - approximate ETA at Quality Suite Hotel

4:01 PM - SOC shenanigans begin!
