I was so excited about making this cruise, but yesterday my car started back firing and sputtering and I barely made it home. When I unplug the #3 plug wire it makes no difference, while all the others make it run worse.

I was supposed to be taking it down to Larry Jowdy on Friday to have my Webers tweaked, but we spoke and he gave me a few things to try. If those things don't make a difference, I'll need to take it back to my mechanic, who just rebuilt my engine last summer.

Sooooo, it doesn't look like I will be making this cruise after all.
Troy - that's EXCELLENT news! See ya Saturday morning.

Warren - I think you'll be very impressed by Kevin's suspension set-up. Maybe you can test drive one of their cars with that suspension. If so, you'll be hooked! See ya Saturday morning.

Everyone be safe on your way to the Saturday morning rendezvous. Might be a good idea to pack a couple bottles of water (or your beverage of choice) to quench your thirst during the cruise.

We are expecting a pretty good turn-out for this cruise (18-20 cars/motorcycles?), Subsequently, it may be (logistically) tricky keeping our caravan together during the entire trip. i will hand out trip-sheets for everyone as a route reference. For safety's sake, we drive with our light on, for improved visibility by other motorists plus the impressive sight of a 3/4 mile long string of Speedsters in unison.

Peace - Out!
OK, so as I see it based on the above posts, this is the plan....
Eddy and I leave Chucky Cheeze at 8:00 and meet with B&J at approx 8:15 at the Atlantic Home Depot, from there the next stop is at Brookhurst Clam Jumper approx 8:45, to meet Desi and anyone else who shows up, leave the Clam no later than 9:00 for the trip to 76 & 15, Mobil station..hopefully with an arrival time of 10:00......
