Gerd..100% yes...let's email or phone convo to set meet point. Are you guys smoked out or what?? Just hit Santa Rosa again and the Reagan Library. From the Pres. Library parking lot, it looks like hell has opened it's gates in Simi!!! Nice night for a cruise, 78 degrees, clear, full moon and eye sockets full of ash...I love sunny California!!
I'm in for the 25th...see you in El Segundo. How about ending up at Point Mugu, Las Posas Road so the valley folks could go home via Las Posas to the 101 and the shoppers in the group could go to the Outlet Mall on Las Posas and the 101. And those that want to do one of the canyons going back can have their pick: Malibu Canyon, Topanga Canyon, or any others. We could make a lunch stop at the Malibu Country Mart 4 or 5 different lunch places and not expensive, have lunch and look for movie stars and then continue north to Point Mugu.

Taskforce for
Regional Autotheft
Prevention
( TRAP)

Capt. Timothy F. Cornell Taskforce for Regional
Autotheft Prevention (TRAP):

In 1992, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the California Vehicle Code imposed an additional fee on motor vehicles registered in the County to establish a vehicle theft curtailment program. In 1993, under the direction of the Countywide Criminal Justice Coordination Committee (CCJCC) with the Sheriff as the regional coordinator, the Taskforce for Regional Autotheft Prevention (TRAP) was established.

TRAP is a multi-jurisdictional, multi-agency task force comprising investigators from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's and Police Departments, the California Highway Patrol, and participating law enforcement agencies in the County who work in concert with other criminal justice entities. The activities of this highly-specialized unit include the investigation, apprehension, and prosecution of organized auto theft operations, "chop shops," international car theft rings that ship stolen vehicles in cargo containers out of the country, suspects who obtain vehicles by the use of fraudulent applications, and other criminals who engage in various types of vehicle theft.

The mission of TRAP is to promote a coordinated effort and encourage maximum cooperation among all law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies in Los Angeles County as well as the private sector business community in an effort to deter and reduce the incidents of auto theft.

Cory and Billy B,
Thanks for the compliments. The color is 2008 Porsche Boxster special orange. By the way the mileage from El Segundo to Las Posas Road in Point Mugu is approximately 55 miles, one way. There is a wonderful "photo opportunity" at Mugu rock to photograph your speedies. Mugu rock is just south of Las Posas Rd., and it's on the ocean side of PCH with an ocean view in the background.
