Can anybody help me locate some latches?
I had to cut and reshape my front bow to fit the windshield frame, that went great. I glued the top to the bow and set it on the windshield frame and it fits great. My problem now is that with the bow covering the top of the windshield frame I am assuming I will have to cut three slots out of the bow to allow room for the catch which will be riveted to the windshield frame. After this I do not have much room on the bow and the windshield frame for mounting the latch. Maybe an inch from mounting holes of the catch to the mounting holes of the catch. Does anybody have pictures to show me and a location where to purchase some latches and catches? I bought some locking adjustable latches from Reid Tool which have 2.5" from mounting holes to mounting holes but this is just to long. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is a CMC rare roadster D soft top with glass windows. I do not think that matters though regarding the top bow and mounting system.
