soft top Y- braces for both sides and tonneau snaps male and female needed

Have a CMC kit speedster and need the right and left side y bracket for the top bows to set in. And also need tonneau cover snaps male and female. The brace that holds the motor cover open could be used also. I need so many parts that if you have any please send me an email with the part and the price.

I'd be happy to trace or take measurements. It's a piece of bent steel or angle iron and easily replicated. Source the snaps from a local boat dealer or JC Whitney.

i have a big bag of snaps, studs complete with the installation tool.

$25 and you can have the whole setup.

FYI - i paid $180 for the tenax fasteners, so they ain't cheap.

Any major upholstery supply shop has what they will call "lift-a-dot" fasteners. Like Tenex. Those other brackets are really simple to fabricate if I understood what you are looking for. Have you ask Vintage Speedster? Kirk was the original sponsor and force fo this web site 8 or 9 years ago and is due a little business.

Hi Jack Moore,

Look at Wolfgangs post above, those are the two brackets that I need. And yes I have availed myself to VS for some parts and Kirk was very helpful and very nice but I left one of my arms there and I only have the leg left so want to spread the money around before I go broke.

You want me to trace mine and take photograph? I can post to my profile and attach to email to you. Might take couple days. You can easily cut/bend them out of metal (about thickness of a quarter). Angle iron is probably too thick - but suspect it would work.

Nice looking speedster. Love the paint job. Where did you find the hard top? Looks like it will be nice when you get it installed.
Your speedster and mine are around the same vintage and I noticed that you donm't have the customerary two snaps on the door for the tonneau, how is that working out for you?
