Another brief video-clip of the group on the way to Solvang,CA on 7/18/09.

Wow...What a weekend...Got back just before dark yesterday, made a few stops along the way....I hate coming back to over 100 posts when I open this site....
Had a great time, thanks to all that showed up. Welcome Scott and Marlene...That marlene is a little vixen, she was rubbing up against me all day, Scott, you better keep an eye on that one...
Scott and Lillie won the Poker shirts, as usual the poker run was a mess, I kept forgetting to give out cards, figures....
I must agree with Gerd, Uncle Tom is not the type to just join our group that quickly. I can see him doing a few of the bridesmaids however, and even had those thoughts myself a few times, but my wife said no way.....Jose....I think Jim is playing Uncle Tom personally.
Had a great time, this group is the best...
Welcome back Billy B, and the lovely NINA of course....We really don't care what you drive, just join us when possible....

Yes, I am an ego-maniac!

Sweet looking ride Billy. We almost got a SLK but my wife wanted a 4 seater convertible so we got the 550CLK. It's great for Havasu runs but it won't launch the boat. What new project are you working on for Discovery? Is that DVD cover any hint? Great too hear from you. Say hi to Nina. Mark

How the HELL do I get back in town a whole day before you guys and freaking Uncle Tom Irvine from Boulder BEATS me to the posting.. LMAO..... That was typical of this trip i guess... what a blast and yes the wedding was super and I am sure my brutha from that diff mutha will make an awesome video of pix for us to watch soon... Lili had a blast and I enjoyed every second except the last 45 minutes coming back though LA.. what a drag... Darren you gotta post that bridesmaids pix with Jim and GERD.. too freaking funny... and yes I am happy to see Uncle Tom on the site... This is typcial of how we effect people and their surroundings.. Vince props to you and Terry again for a super ride and fun day.. MAN what a day... I gotta go back to work to rest!

Vince, Thanks for the welcome. In case you didn't realize, I told Marlene to make nice with the guy who organized the run so the feedback shows she did her job!! I was too busy drinking to notice.... As or Havasu I vote we take Vince and see what kind of fun we can have with him strapped into an inner tube behind Gerds' boat. Could make for some good video!

Scott, I do happen to like being tied down on occasion, especially after a few Scotches..Looking forward to any trip with this gang..
David, glad you and Lili got home safe and had a good time, be sure to hose lili down when she puts on the new T-shirt, and post pictures...it's important that the right seaters have a good time, after all where would we be without them...(most likely with those bridesmaids)

O.K.!!! One more teaser pic before the video comes out. Some poor bride had the misfortune of scheduling her wedding reception at the Fes Parker Winery (Davey Crockett to us old timers) on the same day us SOC knuckleheads were there.

Thanks to Vince and Terri for planning this trip. Darrin and I had a blast as usual, we were sorry to have to leave before dinner, but were glad to get home before midnight! I tell you this group is so much fun, I wish we could do something at least once a month, but I know it is hard with everyone's schedule (ours included). Vince, you make me laugh and I love you for that! Gerd, Jim and the rest of the gang, thanks for making this group so much fun. Welcome to the "newbies", you guys fit in great!

Dave, we had a great time with everyone and no doubt we'll hook up when we're in town. Sorry we'll miss you this coming weekend, but I'll definitely give you the heads up next time we plan a trip.
